I need to put this here, because I might forget. I wanna credit one of the people who are providing sound "pack" that I am going to use for Tunnel Rot. It is "AudioPapkin" on Pixabay, he has a bunch of great industrial sounds and he did ask for credit so I'm going to give it. Same for others, I realise that I want to start keeping track of credits. Not because I need to, but because I want to. I feel it's right to do.
I am at Kiras right now, just sorting through some sound effects that I can use when I get home. I did try to piece some together with Waveform 13 free but it was too fiddly and I'd rather just wait until I can use FL Studio tomorrow since the process will be far quicker and I'll easily be able to make the desired outcome. I tidied her room! It's looking a lot better now, and I just been watching some stuff on YouTube. I started with watching Terry A Davis which is really cool to watch but also really sad. A man who is such a genius at coding but with terrible schizophrenia. He believed the CIA was watching him and he was quite paranoid in life. He was also very religious, not that there's anything inherently wrong with religion, but I think it disconnected him from reality even further than he already was. I'm glad there is still a faithful website dedicated to him at www.templeos.org despite me not knowing a damn clue what he is typing half the time, it is still great to see. I am aware that he was fairly radical, he was not afraid of using the word nigger and almost dismissed certain people entirely. But I don't feel he was a terrible person, just a terribly ill person. Yes, he was egotistical. Yes, he may have appeared arrogant. But it all stemmed from his mental illness, feeling paranoid, feeling as if people are out to get him. Does it excuse the behaviour? No, not at all. But it does explain why he was the way he was. Granted, if he didn't suffer from this illness and still acted like this then I'd likely have a different view on him. But in my eyes he is a tragedy, regardless of how people might think of him.
