This album is very special to me. It is my first full album that I made all for myself. I took what I learned from putting FLY on my previous project and basically made an entire album only for me. I still love this album to this very day. It represented a time where music making was super easy and super straight forward that I could just plonk down some notes and finish a whole song that I was proud of within an hour or two. Nowadays it takes me a lot longer to finish a song. But each song from this album I absolutely loved making and I still find them catchy to this day.
I made mostly all of this album at my dads house. This was during the time my mom was having some alcohol troubles so I had to get away. I dragged my tower PC, monitor and keyboard across to my dads house so I could set up my little station in his spare bedroom, and I loved it. I had this tiny little desk which, yes it was tiny, but it just worked. The album cover is me holding my pair of red Beats Solo that I used at the time. I just held them out while sitting in the chair in my dads spare bedroom and took a photo, then I went into Clickteam Fusion 2.5 (yes, that of all programs) to draw it. This is more inspiration from 3kliksphilip as he did the exact same process with his Audio Crime album cover. The name is even similar to his second album which was titled Audio Crime (my favourite from his three).
The songs on this thing are nice and easy to listen to. No over producing, just simple patterns, layered synths and nice drum patterns. I will always love this project. Like I said about the song FLY, this project taught me so much about making music for yourself and using it as your own personal creative outlet for anything.
