This game took absolutely ages to make in comparison to my other two "big" games. The main reason for this is the 30 whole levels I made. It is just a simple platformer game inspired by the likes of N Way and I Wanna Be The Guy, but just putting the levels together was a bit of a slog. It wasn't exactly difficult, just time consuming. That's the problem with me. I would always have so much ambition but as soon as I got to actually making the game, progress would slow massively and I'd end up with an unfinished mess. I originally wanted this game to have 100 or more levels, but I realised very quickly that it wasn't doable. Well, it was doable, but not with my motivation.
Anyway, this game has some cryptic lore about some school boy being trapped in some meta verse(?) and he needs to escape to beat his GCSE exams...? Doesn't quite make much sense, but I was doing my GCSE exams at the time and the stress of exams might have inspired me to make it about that. You have to get to the exit door on each level, avoiding bombs, spike pits and turrets. The last level is something I still love. It's a chase sequence against a huge scary monster. Though unfortunately, the game is quite buggy and the mechanics are not that great honestly.
