My first game on Fusion 2.5! Now, I do actually have a timelapse of me making this game, however it's on my old old PC. I watched it today and it brought back many odd memories.
Much like Avoid The Walls, this game is even more inspired by 3kliksphilips Death Giver game which he made in two hours. I didn't make this in two hours, it actually took me close to 10 I think? Honestly, too long for what this game is. But it was my first proper game on this engine so I had a lot to learn still.
This game has it all! Multiple levels, a story (though laughably bad), voice acting, everything you need! The point of this game is to just shoot zombies and get to your car, trying to figure out why the world is infested with zombies. Spoilers, it's Santa... I don't really know why it's Santa, but it's Santa.
I even made my own sound effects for this game from the REAL WORLD! You can shoot some walls and I went out into the garden and broke a few wooden planks and knocked some bricks off the wall, recording it on my phone for ultra realistic sound effects.
Hilariously, the GUI (such as the backgrounds behind the ammo, health and time) are COUNTERS! Now, yes they have counters ontop of them, but the grey parts behind the counters are counters themselves! This is because I didn't know how to actually make objects follow the screen, and I just knew that the Counter object followed the screen by default. I obviously know now that there's a checkmark to follow the frame for objects.
