Damn, it has been a minute! I was at Kira's for the past few days and just kinda shut off for those days. I drove so much on either the Friday or Saturday, and I managed to catch up on sleep which is amazing. This past week I have been doing 8 AM shifts and it seriously was just not doing me any good at all. It was great to start off, but after day 4 of going to sleep at 1 AM and waking up at 7 AM, I was a mess mentally. I wasn't exactly sleepy, but I could tell that mentally I wasn't all there. I felt quite foggy mentally, as if I was having subtle micro sleeps despite not being actually "sleepy" in the conventional sense. The traffic driving to work was a lot nicer, though driving home wasn't much different. So anyway, I slept so well at Kira's and I'm back to 9 AM starts next week which should help me out mentally, because I was actually quite moody at work and I felt like snapping at some people. Of course I didn't, but some things just got on my nerves easily which it wouldn't normally.
Anyway, got stuck into my map today. I am slowly starting to get a slightly tad bit bored of it. But I'm nowhere near slowing down. I thought that adding props would be the fun bit, but copying and pasting the same chairs and tables in every room is a bit dull. Same with lights, adding a TV to each room too. Also, an issue arose the other day with the toilet doors. I originally scaled prop_rotating_door entities to fit the door frames, but they do not apply for some reason. So, I either need to make a new door model (which does NOT sound fun), or I just make the toilets inaccessible. I'll probably just make the inaccessible honestly. There are enough classrooms to hide in anyway.
