Man, I played for over 3hrs 30min of premier yesterday and I got 1 single win. The only reason I was playing was because firstly I wanna just improve overall, but secondly I was 1 win away from getting 25 wins which would secure me a Season 3 medal. And somehow lost 6 or 7 games in a row before a win. It was genuinely ridiculous, and the elo system just doesn't help at all. It punishes solo queuers so hard because even if I performed well, if my team didn't and we lose then I lose loads of elo too, even if I played very well. And I don't understand why the win lose conditions appear at the start of the match, like shouldn't it be determining how much elo you gain or lose after the match is over once you have actually performed?? Because the way it works is that at the start of the match it will tell you "+100 on win, -500 on lose" or something like that. But even if you go 40-7 K/D and you still lose because of your dumb team, you then suffer that -500 that was stated at the start of the match. So fucking stupid.
I managed to publish my map yesterday onto the workshop. I hope to at some point have a match with my friends. They aren't so much into CS as I am though, so I don't mind if it doesn't happen. It was never really the main point to play a match with them specifically either.
