God damn, this is the biggest gap in the diary yet and it's because of this stupid map! I am very near the end of this mapping project. It is Sunday and I plan to "finish" this project on the Tuesday. I still haven't even filled some rooms yet! But, I have propped out most of the map and now what needs added is just tiny bits that fill some small empty areas, adding a skybox, and mementos. I spent so long trying to make custom sounds for the map, but it just didn't work at all. I was so close but I never figured out how to make it work. I wanted to make the computers make custom sounds but it didn't work. So, I've resorted to just having the screens on with a specific thing on the screen with no sound unfortunately. Maybe I will eventually be able to add sound, but the fact that there are so few mapping tutorials for CS2 SDK makes this all quite hard to do. I will say that I'm getting very good at the Source 2 editor now, and I could confidently say that I can make a map from scratch now.
