This is an update on my current life right now. I have obviously finished Tunnel Rot, it has not got many sales, but then again I didn't make it to have loads of sales. I made it for myself really and I'm still proud of it, regardless if it has lots of sales or not. I have been having thoughts of Tunnel Rot 2, however that is a while away now. I'm currently focusing on Faceit and genuinely improving at CS.
My current elo is 1,356 which has put me into level 7. I climbed from 1,072 elo, almost on the edge of level 4 which was scary. It kinda pissed me off a bit because I knew for a fact that I was not a low level 5 player and that I deserved to be around level 7. Now I'm here, the only thing that can be done is to keep playing and prove that this is where I belong. But one thing I have learned is that I should not protect my level as that only creates stress, ego fuelling, and other crap that doesn't help at all with trying to play well. If I try to "protect" my level, I will only get frustrated. I've learned that your level is a lagging rough indicator of your skill, not what your skill definitely is.
Also, I was given a letter by one of my neighbours to please cut one of my trees down as it was hanging into their garden and leaving leaves in their garden. I got this saw blade and just hacked half the tree down! So hopefully that will be okay for them. I don't quite see why they couldn't just have cut their side of the tree down but y'know what can you do.
