Yesterday I sold my knife on CSFloat and bought a new one. I put an extra £25 into my budget after selling my Gut Fade for around £96 and got this here:
A field tested Stiletto Ultraviolet with a 0.301 float. No, it's not as flashy as the fade that I had previously, but it is a better tier knife and it feels far nicer to use than the gut knife did.
I was torn between a Stiletto and a Kukri. On the Kukri, I could have got it in slaughter finish, crimson web finish, even case hardened. The animations on the Kukri were really cool too. But the problem was I hated the actual shape of the Kukri, it just looked goofy to me. Meanwhile, the Stiletto was cleaner, had a smoother animation, and the shape of it looks far more satisfying to me.
So it was either flashy finish or sharp outline, and I went for the sharp outline because I knew that every time I would look at the Kukri, I'd be reminded that it looks goofy. I picked this up for £127 and I'm glad I did. I hope to do this every few months or so, selling my previous knife and putting a bit more in to get a better one. My end goal is an M9 Bayonet, hopefully in crimson web.
