My first day back at work now. Currently writing this at my desk. But, I am annoyed because I got a message from my manager to say that if we had our laptops then we could work from home because the roads are icy. Why would I have brought my laptop home for christmas?? So, I've had to come into work today. I will probably work from home tomorrow as I'll bring my laptop home. What is currently very cool is there is no radio playing, it's very peaceful and nice. It's kinda chilly in the office, though I'm wearing my full thermal kit today so I should be alright. The snow is very nice though, I always loved the snow in one way. I used to play a snowboarding game on the PS1 called Cool Boarders 4. I was never very good at it, but I loved the way the snow looked and how your board carved through the snow, and the huge massive distant snowy mountains were awe inspiring. I was saying a few weeks ago that I hated winter because of the heating costs and stuff, but there are pros and cons to everything. Also, jesus christ I forgot how heavy this damn mouse was! It's a Logitech G402 and it feels like a fucking brick compared to my NOS M700. Might have to eventually invest in a lightweight work mouse, even though I've been telling myself that I'd buy a better keyboard for ages. I did see one that looked kinda cool in Cash Converters, but I didn't even bother checking the switches because it was £40 and I have a long month this month money wise.
